This website is the official website of Anuj Kumar Singh, Member of Legislative Council of Gaya, Bihar. Shri Anuj Kumar Singh was also the chairman of Rajbhasha Samiti and also, he served as the chairman of Kalazar Janch Samiti in the past. Anuj ji is kmown for the deliverance of the jobs that he undertakes. Before becoming MLC, he was a member of zila parishad elected from the block of dumaria. After that, he became the vice - chairman of zila parishad of Gaya. He was elected to this post in 2006, then, he resigned in 2009 amnd contested for MLC as representative of panchayati raj.
He is recontesting for this seat in the coming elections on July 7, 2015. Last time he contested this election and had won this seat comfortabely by winning more than 50% of the votes. He has been elected by the members of panchayati raj(which includes mukhhiya, panchayat samiti , ward members and sarpanch of a total of 493 panchayats occouring in 36 blocks of the districts of Gaya, Jehanabad and Arwal. Anuj Kumar Singh contested as a candidate of NDA last time in 2009 and this time too is doing the same.
Anuj ji is known for his honesty all over Bihar. Whatever money he recieves from the Government for the purpose of development, not a penny is found to be misused anywhere and every coin available for allocation from the Government is spent on the desired purpose. Also, if the money is left after the job or development work actually cost less than estimated cost, then, that money too is spent in further development. Thus is expressed his desire for service to the people and to the motherland.
He has been found with a record of absolute 0 % corruption rate, that is 100 % development rate, a quality rarely found in the times of today. He is like a lotus in the 'kichad', a diamond in a coal mine. Very few people are born with the quality of this greatness.
